Author, Pamela Todd is an art historian and the author of a number of books on artistic and literary movements, including The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and The Bloomsbury Group. The Sunday Times chose her Impressionists at Home as one of the top twenty art books published that year. It was followed by The Impressionists at Leisure. Reviewers have praised the way she uses letters, diaries and first-hand accounts to build up a striking picture of life within artistic circles. Her books have won prizes in Germany and been translated into many languages, including French, German, Swedish, Russian, and Hungarian. She's worked as a literary agent, has a first class degree in English Literature, a Masters in the History of Art and has lectured at the Tate, the Wallace Collection and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Her next art book will be on the Surrealists. She lives in London and is currently writing a novel.
