Publication Overview

Andrew Robinson is literary editor of the London Times Higher Education Supplement. The son of a physicist who was an expert on relativity, he is the author of more than a dozen books which include: Earthshock, which won the Association of Earth Science Editors Outstanding Publication Award; The Shape of the World, which accompanied a six-part Granada television series shown worldwide; and Lost Languages: The Enigma of the World's Undeciphered Scripts. He has also published extensively on Indian culture, including definitive biographies of Satyajit Ray, The Inner Eye, and Rabindranath Tagore, The Myriad-Minded Man.
